As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Pensacola, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support day-to-day operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out assigned procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed, and communicate with employees, contractors, and visitors regarding site rules and security-related protocols.
• Support daily operations at a utility location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A current guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
