Medical Assistant - CMA / MA

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a busy outpatient setting. The role involves ensuring patient care efficiency while adhering to facility policies and documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and screening information.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and ensure accurate medical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients in Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish.
• Follow scheduling protocols and comply with travel and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Complete a formal Medical Assistant training program.
• Maintain valid BLS certification.
• Possess at least one year of Medical Assistant experience (preferred).
• Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) is preferred.
• Valid NY license and compliance with travel regulations required.
