Description: Replacing a staff member. Neuro ICU RN for 12-hour Night Shifts. The role may require charge responsibilities, with appropriate pay differentials and training provided. Local candidates accepted. Expected weekend shifts are 2-3 per month. Travelers will float as needed. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS experience are required. Position involves dealing with neuro diagnoses, both surgical and medical. Equipment includes vital sign machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry capabilities, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices. All team members are expected to contribute to a supportive culture, particularly in interactions with students and new hires. Float requirements may not be applicable.
