Veterinary Technician - ICU

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Licensed Veterinary Technician for our ICU! Pay: $26.75 - $51.32/hr. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift Differentials: Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 6 AM - 7 PM. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Is a team player who enjoys working together to provide quality care for pets. Responsibility Scope: Triage and obtain patient history. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR. Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as jugular catheters, central lines, or PICC lines. Monitor and care for ventilator cases. Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine to patients. Help mentor and train other co-workers.
