Restaurant Host

Job Title: Restaurant Host Reports to: Food & Beverage Managers, Director of Outlets Restaurant Hosts are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. They influence the overall restaurant experience by managing table accommodations, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Maintain menu knowledge and be able to answer guest questions as needed. Maintain awareness of food and product information, merchandise promotions, special offers, and advertisements. Assist in food running from kitchen to table/bar. Be knowledgeable of table numbers and open tables. Anticipate and understand guests’ needs, focus attention on service details, and work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team. Stand and maintain well‑paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment. Refined verbal communication skills. Customer service experience. Ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Preferred prior restaurant experience in upscale/fast‑paced environment. Anticipate and understand guests’ needs, focus attention on service details, and work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team. A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for restaurants and customer service. TABC and Food Handlers certifications required.
