An established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to oversee production planning and scheduling activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for aligning customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and production priorities to ensure exceptional delivery performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master production schedule to support customer demand and plant capacity.
• Create and release production work orders while balancing priorities across multiple departments.
• Analyze capacity requirements and adjust production plans to maximize throughput and on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and improve inventory accuracy through effective planning strategies.
• Lead daily production planning activities and coordinate scheduling priorities with manufacturing leadership.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, pull systems, and visual inventory management processes.
• Track production performance, shipping metrics, and schedule attainment to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams during APQP activities and new product launches.
• Resolve scheduling challenges while maintaining customer commitments and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production planning, scheduling, or production control experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles; pull system experience is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and planning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
