Lead Fire Alarm Technician

Fuze HR is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established leader in the fire protection industry. Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00+ per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and licensing.

What You'll Do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm systems.
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Lead installation and service projects from start to finish.
• Diagnose system issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Program, configure, and commission fire alarm control panels and devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
• Mentor and assist junior technicians in the field.
• Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure all work is completed safely while maintaining company quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial fire alarm installation and service experience.
• Previous experience leading projects or supervising technicians preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with one or more major fire alarm manufacturers such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Simplex, Siemens, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Bosch, or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and applicable fire and life safety codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• NICET certification is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
