Internal Audit Manager

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead operational, financial, and compliance audit initiatives across the business. This role offers strong visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to help enhance internal controls, improve business processes, and support organizational risk management efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of public accounting and/or internal audit experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities Lead and execute operational, financial, and compliance audits across various business functions Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, business processes, and risk management practices Develop audit plans, risk assessments, testing procedures, and audit documentation Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and areas for operational improvement Prepare audit findings and present recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders Partner with business leaders to support remediation efforts and track corrective actions Assist with SOX compliance initiatives, including walkthroughs, testing, and documentation Support enterprise risk management initiatives and special projects as needed Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit requests Mentor and develop junior audit staff and help drive continuous improvement within the audit function Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA, CIA, or related certification preferred 8 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, or accounting Foundation with a national public accounting firm or Big 4 strongly preferred Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit methodologies Extensive experience with SOX compliance and process documentation preferred Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Background Combination of public accounting and industry internal audit experience Experience within a public company or complex operating environment Exposure to operational audits, compliance audits, and process improvement initiatives Experience working with ERP systems and data analytics tools Our client offers: $170,000 to $190,000 base salary based on experience level Annual bonus based on performance Medical, dental, and vision, 401K + match, PTO and holiday pay #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
