Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality inpatient care for acutely ill patients in a telemetry unit. Manage patient monitoring, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including taking ED patients when required.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards during night shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the appropriate state.
• Demonstrate experience with inpatient telemetry nursing and acuity management.
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
• Have ability to work night shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for 36 hours per week.
• Prior experience with emergency department patients is preferred.
