Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting complex cardiovascular procedures and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires advanced technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Perform and assist with procedures such as TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP implants, DCCV, and TEE. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status throughout procedures, providing prompt intervention if needed. Document all clinical activities accurately in MacLab and Meditech systems. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compliance with unit-specific policies and protocols. Support float policies within the department, including EP and Stress Lab coverage. Maintain certification requirements, such as ACLS and BLS, and stay updated on new technological advances. Qualifications: Hold valid ACLS and BLS certifications. Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. Demonstrate proficiency with equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, and related procedural tools. Exhibit strong knowledge of structural heart interventions, IABP, and Impella procedures. Maintain professional credentials and adhere to hospital dress code and safety policies.
