Job Title: Home Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of experience in a Medsurg floor in a hospital setting License: Licensed in the state of work Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Home care experience and background in home health Description: No clinical involvement; profiles go directly to the manager for consideration. Coverage area includes specific counties; no mileage pay provided. Home Health Registered Nurse is required to manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients. Daily visits include start of care, recertifications, and regular visits. Clinical support is available 24/7 for emergencies or from 8 AM to 5 PM for regular inquiries. Shifts involve five 8-hour shifts, including weekend rotations based on staff availability. Holiday rotation participation is expected. No on-call responsibilities are associated with this position. Scrubs are required, but there is no specific color requirement. Orientation includes two weeks with a preceptor, involving several visits with a work coach. The charting system utilized is Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
