Pay: $71.00 per hourTemporary Full-Time PositionEstimated Assignment Period: July 20, 2026 – September 30, 2026, or until project completion.This is a temporary, full-time position with employment limited to the duration of the project. Continued employment is contingent upon project funding, operational needs, and successful completion of assigned duties.Position SummaryThe Senior Communications Coordinator will support our client by enhancing digital communication, improving public access to services, and expanding outreach to their clients and their families. This position is focused on strengthening the company’s online presence and ensuring that accurate, accessible information about available benefits and services is widely distributed.This role is temporary and designed to support short-term communications and outreach needs, including website updates, social media management, and development of informational materials.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, update, maintain, and train staff on our client’s website to ensure accuracy, clarity, and accessibility of informationDevelop, schedule, and manage social media content across department platformsCreate, edit, and update informational materials including flyers, brochures, and outreach documentsAssist in designing and formatting printed and digital communication materialsSupport outreach initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of our clients services and programsCoordinate messaging to ensure consistency across all communication platformsIdentify opportunities to improve digital engagement with veterans who primarily use online resourcesAssist staff with communications projects and special outreach campaigns as assignedPosition PurposeThis position is intended to improve communication between our client and their community by expanding digital access points and enhancing outreach strategies. A key focus is reaching potential clients who may not currently be engaged with traditional service channels but rely on online platforms for information and support.Minimum QualificationsExperience with website content management systems (CMS) requiredSocial media platforms and digital engagement strategies experienceGraphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)Strong written communication and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple short-term projectsPreferred QualificationsExperience in website administration, marketing, communications, public relations, or outreachPrior work in a governmental or nonprofit environmentExperience designing outreach or educational materials for public distribution#IND1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
