Production ManagerMichael Page is hiring in the CPG industry, located in Midtown, New York, 5x a week onsiteProduction Scheduling & TrackingMaintain the production schedule across all factories and SKUs, keeping every date current and accurateTrack CRDs, PP and TOP samples, packaging approvals, testing, inspections, and other production milestones through final sign-offKeep our internal systems updated in real time so the team always has an accurate view of production statusFactory ManagementServe as a primary point of contact with our factories, primarily in ChinaFollow up consistently and push for timely, specific updates on production statusMake sure product, packaging, timing, and quality requirements are clearly understood at the factory levelRisk Management & CommunicationCatch delays, discrepancies, and potential production issues earlyFlag risks clearly and escalate issues before they affect customer delivery datesKeep the Director of Production and internal teams aligned on timing, changes, and outstanding decisionsCross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with design, sales, and operations so product requirements, packaging, production timing, and delivery expectations stay aligned from what is sold through what ultimately shipsCoordinate with design on samples, specifications, packaging, and approvalsWork with operations on inventory needs, replenishment, and delivery timingKey Retail AccountsManage account-specific production requirements for major retail partners including Target and WalmartTrack customer-specific packaging, compliance, testing, timing, and delivery requirementsWork with the sales and operations teams to make sure customer commitments are accurately reflected in production plansMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
