Tool and Die Maker

Job Title Responsible for all aspects of build and final assembly of progressive dies and fixtures. Work with little to no supervision. Die maker must be able to operate all tool room equipment including CNC machines. Troubleshoot most tooling issues. Work in close tolerances +/-.0002. Required to supervise subordinate level machinists on occasion. Identify opportunity to improve product and reduce cost. Run and set up CNC Mills and program basic work at machine. Knowledge and understanding of feed and speed required to cut various materials. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 + years' experience in machining or similar. Mechanical aptitude (measuring with Vernier's and Micrometers). Attention to detail. Time management.
