Pharmacy Technician

Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our client's healthcare facility in Austin, TX .


Job Details:
Schedule: Variable Day/Mid Shift | 40 hrs/week, 6:00 AM-9:00 PM
Location: Austin, TX - 78705
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range : $28 - $30 per Hour on W2
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

• Prepare and compound sterile/IV medications.
• Work in the sterile compounding/IV room.
• Follow proper aseptic techniques and pharmacy safety procedures.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital pharmacy policies.
• Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• License(s): Pharmacy Technician license/registration - required.
• Certification(s):
• Years of experience:

• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
• IV room/sterile compounding experience required.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique.

• Skills/Specialties/Technology:

• Sterile compounding certification preferred.
