Band Saw OperatorLocation: Longview, TX Pay: $17.00 per hourScheduleMonday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMFriday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Band Saw Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a horizontal band saw to cut steel products according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with steel materials and operating material-handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate a horizontal band saw to cut steel products to customer specifications.Read and follow work orders and cutting requirements.Move and position steel material using an overhead crane and forklift.Inspect materials and completed cuts for quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.RequirementsPrevious manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.Ability to safely operate or learn to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.Ability to read measurements and follow specifications.Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials as required.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Dress Code & PPEJeansT-shirtSteel-toe bootsAll required PPE will be provided by the company.
