Position Summary Sam's Club #6343, located at 9440 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23294-5330, is seeking a full-time Food Service Associate to work flexible shifts. The role supports the prepared food area, ensuring safe and high‑quality food production, customer service, and efficient merchandise handling. What You’ll Do Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate across teams, and support associates with training and resources. Expert : Prepare food to specifications, plan production, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, and manage inventory and equipment maintenance. Techie : Use handheld technology to make production and ordering decisions, support club pick‑up orders, and train hands‑on staff. Owner : Drive area performance, stock and rotate merchandise, enforce quality and date‑control standards, and provide member service. Talent Ambassador : Act as a brand advocate, inspire teammates, and assist with training to overcome roadblocks. Comply with company policies and the Open Door Policy, uphold ethics and integrity in all business processes. Prioritize work using policies, data, and resources, collaborate cross‑functionally, and recommend improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Agree to complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service / Food Handler Certification.
