Additional Information About the Role BJH is hiring a Unit Secretay. This working 36/hrs a week nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. This role is responsible for answer phones, transfering calls, creating charts, and helping with admissions. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team. Responsibilities Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support. Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail. Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
