Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems in order to maintain and repair equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete daily preventative maintenance and daily tasks.Assist and become an active member of the HAZMAT team.Read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals.Able to diagnose and troubleshoot automated equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner.Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work.Operate lifts and material handling tools as needed.Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment as needed.Able to adapt to a fast paced work environment.Job RequirementsSchedule:Experience:Working on automated (PLC’s, Vision Systems) equipment, Textor/Weber/Multivac equipment, 480V, pneumatics is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Ability to read prints/schematics/drawings. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred. Must have computer skills to communicate and process data, preferred experience with CMMS, L2L, Google Suite.Age:Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.Education:Associates Degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.Physical Abilities:Environmental:Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.Flexibility:Must be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.Compliance:Must practice good personal hygiene.
