Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in an acute hospital setting in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Float to like units or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Provide weekend coverage as determined by staffing needs, which may occur more frequently than every other weekend
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for charting and documentation
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements including holiday coverage, working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist state license (pending license accepted; must have license in hand prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel MRI Technologist experience
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
• Familiarity with floating to multiple units or affiliate locations within a hospital system
