Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Urology Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Daytime hours, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours, varies between 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, 0900-1730 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - Ability to set up sterile field and assist in procedures. - Proficiency in placing catheters. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Urology Clinic. The clinic has 6 clinical rooms and 4 procedure rooms. The nurse will care for 33-40 patients per day with a team of 2 nurses, 1 CST, and 1 CNA. Common diagnoses include BPH, hematuria, UTI, LUTS, frequency, cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy. There is no weekend or holiday requirement as the clinic is closed during specific holidays. The role may involve floating to other departments within specialty clinics, but the job duties will remain the same. Scrubs of any color are permitted. Nurses are not required to titrate drips. There are no charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities. The pharmacy operates 24/7 for inpatient care.
