Warehouse Associate

Job Description Posted Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM Summary The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, maintaining proper inventory records, and collaborating with other warehouse staff to facilitate smooth operations. Job Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to Receive incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of items received against packing lists or purchase orders. Inspect deliveries for any damages and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties. Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the store and warehouse. Safely and efficiently navigating the warehouse using a power pallet jack and/or forklift. Other duties as instructed or assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Education and/or Experience A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; plus two or more years related experience; or any equivalent combination of formal training and/or experience which provided the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities thereof. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and effectively respond to the data. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, customers, employees, or others involved or associated in the warehouse section function. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts relevant to the role such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. General knowledge of basic accounting a plus. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations A valid driver’s license, health certificate and forklift certification or ability to obtain a certification is required for this position. Other Skills and Abilities: Knowledgeable in use of computer software applications customarily used in the job function at an appropriate proficiency level. Working Conditions Work is conducted in a warehouse environment which may include, but is not limited to, varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is mandatory in designated areas and job tasks. Adherence to safety guidelines and protocols is mandatory. Employees are expected to report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
