Salary: $43,305.60 – $46,009.60 / year (based on experience level II or III)

Position Overview:
Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Family Support Specialist Case Manager (1369) to deliver trauma-informed care and skills training to youths (under 18) across Dumas, Dalhart, and the surrounding service area. This role is ideal for human services graduates looking to gain direct clinical experience in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language.
- Conduct screening and assessment, crisis intervention, family and individual skills training using evidenced-based curriculum, and community outreach.
- Provide direct, community-based care (approx. 50%+ of working time spent face-to-face or via phone in home/community settings with the youth, family, and/or family supports).
- Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Education & Credentials (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience directly working with at-risk youth and families .
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
- At least 18 years of age.

Experience Level Tiering:
- Case Manager II ($43,305.60/yr): Minimum 1 year of behavioral health case management experience.
- Case Manager III ($46,009.60/yr): Minimum 2 years of behavioral health case management experience.
- Graduate-level coursework in a related field may substitute for up to 1 year of required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
