The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.Role DescriptionProviding compassionate care and assistance to senior residentsAssisting with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and meal preparationMonitoring and reporting any changes in residents' health or behaviorBuilding rapport and fostering relationships with residentsResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily livingEnsure the safety and well-being of residentsDocument and communicate any changes in residents' conditionProvide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingHelp clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Plan and prepare mealsAssist with physical therapy exercisesComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryQualificationsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification highly preferredPrevious experience in caregiving or related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related dutiesValid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single dayValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA ProgramTake pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageOpportunity for growth and advancementFlexible schedulesDental insuranceLife insuranceReferral programVision insuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
