We are seeking a dedicated Per-diem Registered Nurse for an opening at a Medical Center in Selma, AL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic setting, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient caseload with acute and chronic medical conditions or recovering from surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately, while monitoring for patient response and potential complications.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, document changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely intervention.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, post-discharge care, medications, and strategies for managing health after leaving the hospital.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently to support staff (e.g., LPNs, CNAs) to ensure all patient care needs are met in a timely manner.
