Overview:

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Respiratory Therapy

Shifts Available: Days & Nights-Per Diem

Salary Range: $840.00 – $980.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule; equivalent to $60.00 – $70.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 4 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Performs respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider
• Works under the direction of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director/Manager
• Assesses, plans, implements, and documents patient care
• Tailors care to age-specific and population-specific patient needs
• May serve as Lead RCP when needed, overseeing department/section during shift

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
4. Minimum one (1) year of experience as an RCP required.
5. ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
6. PALS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
7. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. If there is no Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60.00 to $70.00. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
