Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Part-Time (Afternoons)

Location: Clinic-Based in Cary, NC

Pay & Highlights

• Pay Model: Pay-Per-Visit. Follow-Up (FU) Rate: $32.00 – $40.00 per visit
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.00 – $2,000.00 (paid within the first 90 days; requires a 1-year commitment)
• Job Type: Part-Time, W2 (Afternoon Availability Required)
• Benefits Eligibility: Partial/full benefits eligible if maintaining over 20 visits per week!

The Role

We are seeking a skilled COTA to join our growing team in Cary, NC during afternoon hours. Under the supervision of a registered OT, you will provide essential therapy services to a diverse population—from infants to seniors—within our clinic through:

• Plan Implementation: Implementing individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches and therapeutic techniques.
• Direct Instruction: Providing direct instruction in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine/gross motor skills, and sensory processing.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborating effectively with Speech and Physical Therapists to ensure holistic patient progress.
• Documentation & Facility Care: Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the clinic remains a clean, welcoming space.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certification: Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• State Licensure: Valid and current NC state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Availability: Available for afternoon clinic shifts.
• Requirements: Must be comfortable treating both Adult and Pediatric populations.
• Experience: Experience in a clinic setting is preferred; knowledge of developmental milestones and age-related conditions is required.
