Maintenance Technician position available in the Bristol, Indiana location working at our client location who is a growing manufacturer.

This is a direct hire opportunity on first shift, with a schedule of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. Pay rate is $22-25/hour.

Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician Include:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Inspect equipment for maintenance and safety concerns
• Install and test new equipment and replacement parts
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Flexible to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or electrical systems
• Experience with PLCs and automated equipment
• Welding/fabrication experience
• Forklift or scissor lift certification

Physical & Work Environment:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments
• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery
• PPE required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes
