As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess an F85 or F89 Certificate of Fitness in New York. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
