Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.**Overview:** Medical Assistant**Position Highlights:*** Pain Management* Full-Time, 40 hours* Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm* Location: Schaumburg MOB and Glen Ellyn**Benefits:*** Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.* Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.* Employer provided life and disability insurance.* $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year* Immediate 401(k) match.* 40 hours paid volunteer time off.* A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.* Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.**Responsibilities:*** Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history* Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures* Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections* Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing* Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests* Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits* Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values* Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED required* Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required* Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:* American Medical Technologists (AMT)* National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)* National Healthcareer Association (NHA)* American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)* American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)* CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required* May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire* Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient careThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
