The Kitchen Manager / Chef De Cuisine oversees kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, staff management, and quality control. This role requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities
- Plan and design menus with attention to seasonal ingredients and cost control
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen staff for performance and professional development
- Monitor and control food costs and waste
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service
