Job Title: Senior Associate, Quality EngineerJob Code: 44750Job Location: Malabar, FloridaJob Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a weekJob Description:This role is responsible for driving product and process quality by analyzing defect data, implementing data driven corrective actions, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. The position partners with engineering, suppliers, customers, and cross functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and engineering documentation. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on product performance, operational efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.Essential Functions:Analyze defect data and implement data driven corrective actionsReview hardware for compliance with engineering drawingsDrive continued improvement of the quality system and manufacturing processesPresent corrective actions and process improvements to internal and external audiencesReview, interpret, and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, engineering drawings, customer contract requirements, and product test proceduresLead containment efforts of non-conforming materialCommunicate directly with customers and suppliersRevise and improve manufacturing work instructionsInitiate and review engineering design changesCoordinate material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming productPerform internal audits of assigned programs, and support in the preparation for and execution of external auditsAbility to obtain Secret ClearanceQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Zero-Defect Plan (ZDP)Lean/Six Sigma training (preference is certified green/black belt) Understanding of IS09001/AS9100 and related QMS standardsExperience using RCCA tools such as FMEA, Pareto, 5 Why, 8D, and Fishbone#LI-KT1
