HVAC Manager/Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts. 
 
HVAC Estimator Job
Lane Valente Industries is looking for a HVAC Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and e-commerce software tools.
• Create quotes and respond to inbound queries and requests.
• Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products.
• Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests.
• Understand scope of HVAC work to bid.
• Communicate with the engineering department on new and current projects.
• Prepare job take offs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively.
• Knowledge of bidding software.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to develop budgets and time lines.
• Multi-tasker and Organized.
• Commutable to Staten Island.
• Great customer service and a team attitude.
• Attention to detail an asset;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC estimating;
• Works well on own or in a team environment;
• Self-starter with strong work ethic;
• Knowledgeable in building and construction.
