Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma hospital, requiring ARRT (R)(MR) certification and NYS licensure.

Details

Level 1 Trauma hospital with 700 beds across two campuses
Radiology department performing a variety of MRI exams, with neuro imaging most common
Approximately 16 exams per shift using closed GE 3 Tesla and GE 1.5 Tesla machines
Evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Every other weekend required

Requirements

ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
NYS IV/Injection Certification required
BLS certification required (AHA only)
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform a variety of MRI exams with a focus on neuro imaging
Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
Returning Northwell/Nuvance Health employees subject to an eligibility review process before consideration
