This role contributes to the success of the company by completing all inventory logistic procedures to maximize the turnaround time of order fulfillment. The Specialist supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.The Specialist role is a foundational position in which the skills and desired characteristics for professional growth within FOH® are developed.Major Duties Include:Completes all daily transactions including bin replenishments, pending replenishments, activities, inter-company transfers, and production orders to maximize order cycle timeUpdates perpetual inventory to reflect the accurate movement of inventory within the DC, by entering transfers on the handheldUnloads containers, verifies quantity and items according to the packing list, and receives into handheldConsolidates bin locations freeing up bins for inbound productsFollows forklift safety guidelines daily and ensures equipment is properly charged for the next day's activitiesCompletes daily forklift checklist and submits to the direct supervisorReports any equipment issues or safety concerns to their direct supervisor promptlyReconciles staging bins 01pick01 and 01ship01 daily (bin with canceled orders, discontinued or overstock items)Optimizes first-in-first out (FIFO) inventory management for pick bin locations when completing bin replacements and transfersMaintains a clean and safe work environment in assigned aisles or areasRecords personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance recordsActively participates in all one-on-one and group meetingsPromotes our FOH® Culture in all interactionsEducation, Experience & Computer Skills:Minimum of 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment or relatedMinimum of 1+ year' experience using sitting and standing forkliftExperience with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld devicesMust be able to tolerate working in a high-heat environmentBasic understanding of computer programsSkills Needed for Success:Follows direction and works under pressure to meet deadlinesStress and time management skillsAnalytical, creative, practical problem-solving skillsCustomer service and interpersonal skillsCommunicate with excellence and clarity both verbally and in writingWork collaboratively and as part of a diverse teamProject management skills and strong attention to detailTech-savvinessDesired Characteristics & Qualifications:Organized, action and detail orientedDemonstrates sound work ethicsPossesses cultural awareness and sensitivityAbility to re-arrange tasks as properties changeHighly enthusiastic, positive-minded, and composure in changing situationsThrives in a goal-driven environmentPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member frequently required to sit; The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.Team Members may also need to pull or push 800lbs pallet jacks.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
