Dental Receptionist

Job Description Job Description Our office is looking to add a skilled dental receptionist to our team. In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for our patients. This means that having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential. You’ll greet patients, take their phone calls, and send out emails to ensure their needs are being met. You will also help our office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks like scheduling and canceling patient appointments, communicating with insurance providers, refilling office supplies, and filing documents, among others. Dental Receptionist Responsibilities: Greet patients who enter the office warmly Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed Assist patients in filling out required forms Collect payment from patients File insurance claims and track their progress Maintain office inventory Perform office duties such as document filing, scanning, and copying Communicate with dental supply vendors Dental Receptionist Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Certification in office administration or a related field is preferred Superior customer service skills Excellent interpersonal skills Positive attitude and professional appearance Basic computer literacy Proficiency or ability to learn dental practice management software such as Dentrix Working knowledge of dental terminology Company Description Crystal Lake Pediatric Dental has been serving the community for 30 years.
