Details CT Scan department within a Level I Trauma center Adult acute care, outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU patient populations 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM No call requirements Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required ARRT(CT), ARRT(R), and BLS certifications required Level I Trauma experience required; Level II Trauma experience preferred Epic EMR experience required VA state license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses accepted Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement preferred Experience performing abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, and cardiac CT studies preferred Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, venipuncture, and radiation safety practices Additional Information Perform CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, and cardiac/vascular imaging May be required to float within clinical scope of practice as needed Up to 40 hours of RTO permitted per 13-week contract 50-mile radius rule applies for this unit Previous UVA staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler External travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days at this facility Orientation includes up to 16 non-billable, specialty-specific training modules BSN preferred American Traveler Job ID P-748515.
