Job Title: Kennel Technician
Location: NW Oklahoma City
Shift Options: AM Shift (7:00 AM - 2:00 PM) or PM Shift (2:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour, increasing to $10.25 per hour after 30 days
- Feeding & Watering: Provide all dogs with fresh food and water.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications brought in with dogs according to instructions.
- Dog Walking: Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, maintaining control at all times.
- Monitoring: Keep track of food and water consumption, noting any irregularities.
- Waste Management: Scoop and properly dispose of waste, both indoors and outdoors.
- Kennel Cleaning: Regularly clean kennels to ensure a hygienic living space for the dogs.
- Daily Cleaning: Sweep and mop all areas daily to maintain cleanliness.
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks around the facility.
- Dog Bathing: Bathe dogs as needed to keep them clean and comfortable.
- Punctuality & Dependability: Show up for your shift on time and as scheduled unless prior approval is given.
- Safety Awareness: Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both the animals and you.
Physical Requirements: This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to bend, lift, squat, and walk for long periods. Advancement Opportunities: Kennel Technicians who demonstrate excellence in their duties will have opportunities for advancement within the company. Time spent as a kennel technician is a prerequisite for any future training, leadership, or supervisory roles.
