Location: Salem, OR
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $16-$18.50/hour DOE
Type: Full-Time

Job Overview


We're hiring for a Warehouse position in a fast-paced production environment. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, with responsibilities that may shift during peak and non-peak periods. We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented worker with strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate equipment that inserts printed matter, primarily direct mail
• Bindery activities including machine cutting, folding, scoring, saddle stitching
• Follow job orders and special instructions
• Oversee output and adjust as needed
• Mail sorting and traying
• Completion of production paperwork
• Quality Control steps completed accurately
• Maintenance of a clean work area, as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the production supervisor
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed to get the job done

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to bend and lift repetitively in a fast-paced environment

• Solid Math skills
• Solid written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to identify inadequate machine operation and make basic adjustments.
• Ability to read and understand Zip reports
• Ability to sort and tray mail
• Strong mechanical skills required
• Comfortable working within a team environment

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Intermittent bending up to 4 hours

Strick no cell phone policy while on the production floor. Employees are assigned lockers for personal items including their phones. Phones may be used before & after work, breaks, and lunch only.
