Dental Assistant I

We seek a traveling pediatric dental assistant to join our mission to transform the dental experience. Responsibilities Provide chair‑side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory set‑up/clean‑up, and patient education. Record and review patient health history, enter chart data under the dentist’s direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software. Review daily schedules and set up appropriate trays and instruments. Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines. Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs. Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements; maintain compliance with HIPAA, CPR, X‑ray, and other required certifications and registrations. Qualifications Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on‑the‑job training. 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered. State‑required radiography/X‑ray certification. CPR certification required. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
