Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Jersey City laboratory location. The role involves performing blood collections across multiple sites, processing specimens, entering patient data, and providing customer service with a flexible schedule including rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Travel between multiple clinical sites as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months experience as a phlebotomist
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
