About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in high acuity postpartum care License: Must possess a valid compact license Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: High Risk Obstetric care experience Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy and Epic system Ability to manage a 4-couplet patient load Experience handling postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal Description: We are a large volume, high census facility. Our patient population is diverse, including high-risk obstetric patients. Postpartum treatment follows delivery after pregnancy. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting is required. Travel applicants are accepted if they have been separated from their last facility for at least 3 months. All candidates must be able to float between units as necessary. Six weekend days are required over the course of the contract. References required from the last 3 years. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling requests. Arrival for work-related shifts must be punctual, as specified in the contract.
