Travel Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an immediate start date. The hourly pay rate is $70.35.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed, following established practices and standards
• Review prescriptions and diagnoses
• Act as a liaison between providers and support staff
• Prepare equipment, including immobilization, treatment, and protection devices
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and files
• Assist in localization of tumors and dosimetry procedures as needed
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to serve the patient population effectively
• Maintain required core competencies
• Comply with organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiology program or equivalent
• Experience: 2-5 years of clinical experience preferred; IMRT and LDR/HDR experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) card
• Must have New Mexico Licensure upon hire
