Associate Attorney

Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will support us by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, and assisting with legal counsel. The ideal candidate will have some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. Compensation : $80,000 - $100,000 yearly Responsibilities Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients Onboard new clients Attend Meeting of Creditors for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Attend Court hearings Communicate with clients Communicate with the courts Communicate with the trustees Follow up with clients for documents Review Petition and Schedules Analyze clients\' financial situations Provide solutions to clients Prepare motions and briefs Willing to pursue a career in bankruptcy Qualifications Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Successful completion of the bar exam Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base Experienced Bankruptcy attorney Must be organized Must have good communication skills Must be willing to seek self-improvement About Company We are a consumer bankruptcy law firm that believes in the core values of No Gossip Honesty and Integrity Growth Oriented No Drama Personal Responsibility We help people find relief from their debts, and we continue to make sure they are protected after they are done with their bankruptcy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
