GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Job TitleThe role involves collaboration with the Production Controller in implementing objectives, policies, directives, and procedures set by higher authority. It includes aiding in developing and implementing local supply policies, regulations, and bulletins. The position requires planning and taking action to ensure work accomplishment, providing opinions, advice, guidance, interpretations, and decisions on administrative and specialized supply problems. It also involves reviewing work progress through internal control procedures, holding conferences, and informal discussions with supervisors to note deficiencies and direct corrective actions. Additionally, the role includes discussing changes in mission, submitting budget estimates, and initiating supply actions based on approved forecasts of needs. Coordination with other segments of the Supply Division and various other organizations within the installation is also part of the duties. Finally, the role involves developing the logistics budget and fiscal data.
