Accountant

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented and driven Accountant in Pearland Area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting core accounting functions, utilizing your proven skills to manage financial duties, and joining a growing finance team. In an Accountant job you’ll be responsible for: Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including financial records and general ledger accounts. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations. Reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. Collaborating with the team on financial reporting and analysis. What you’ll need: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven accounting abilities and a foundational understanding of GAAP. Entry-to-mid-level experience, making this ideal for an ambitious professional looking to grow. Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to accounting software/ERP systems. Healthcare, vision and dental benefits Long-term career opportunity with stable company. Schedule & Compensation: Pay: Full-time position with an annual salary of $80,000-$100,000 (DOE).
