Certified Medical Assistant – Family Practice Location: Tinley Park, IL Hours: Monday & Wednesday, 7:45AM‑5:00PM; Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, 7:30AM‑4:00PM Travel: As needed. Employment type: Full‑time, 40hours per week. Responsibilities Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital sign measurements, and health history collection. Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures. Assist with immunizations or injections as a certified medical assistant. Help patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting, and filing. Conduct onsite laboratory testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests. Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits. Provide excellent customer service, exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required. Active medical assistant certification through one of the following: AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA, or CPR certification (willing to become certified upon hire) required. May require phlebotomy certification completed within 90 days of hire. Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or two years of experience in a medical office assisting with patient care. Prior experience using an electronic medical record (e.g., Epic) preferred. College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to apply. Compensation Base pay range: $21.43‑23.63 per hour for a Medical Assistant; $22.97‑24.57 per hour for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. Pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
