Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Key Responsibilities:Contribute across the full technology stack to build highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native solutionsDevelop new features for Java Management Services, aligning with market trends, evolving business needs, and project requirements.Maintain and enhance operational excellence for Java Management Services, consistently meeting the service’s SLOs.Ensure the performance, availability, and scalability of Java Management Service by upholding high standards of code quality.Follow agile development practices, adhere to Oracle and project team best practices, and actively pursue opportunities for continuous learning.Collaborate effectively with both Java Management Service internal teams and broader Oracle teamsParticipate in on-call responsibilities. Develop integrations using frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph to orchestrate tools, agents, and multi-step automation workflows. Write production-quality code for AI agents, with appropriate evaluation, observability, security, and reliability controls. Skillset:5+ years of experience designing, implementing, testing, and operating cloud-native applications in Agile and DevOps environmentsProficient in building rich user interfaces with JavaScript frameworks, preferably ReactStrong expertise in Java, with proficiency in at least one additional programming language such as Go, Python, Kotlin, or C/C++Hands-on experience with Java frameworks, ideally Dropwizard/HelidonExperience working with both relational and non-relational databasesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, version control with Git, and build tools like Maven or GradleExperience with cloud-native technologies, including containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Helm, Kubernetes)Deep experience working with at least one major cloud provider (OCI, Azure, AWS, or GCP)Proven ability to scale architectures by introducing new microservices in event-driven software environmentsExperience utilizing monitoring tools, preferably GrafanaStrong skills in writing comprehensive functional and technical documentationDemonstrated ability to write highly maintainable code and leverage code assistance toolsCloud engineering certifications are a plusNice to HaveCloud engineering certifications.Open-source contributions or active participation in developer communities.Experience building LLM-enabled applications using LangChain, LangGraph, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, and agent or multi-agent workflows.Full timePosting Date: 2026-07-29
