Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant - Full-time, onsite, $21-$24 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Join a great team in a fast-paced hepatology clinic!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
- 3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
- Greet and room patients
- Take basic vitals
- Perform patient intake and record patient symptoms
- Enter information into EMR system
- Perform EKGs, INRs, and blood sugar checks
- Prep patients for provider
- Handle patient callbacks
- Cover front office as needed
