Join Easterseals PORT Health as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and play a vital role in empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential homes. As a DSP, you’ll bring your compassion, flexibility, and dedication to multiple group homes, providing consistent care and support where it’s needed most. Position details: Part Time (32 Hours) Every other weekend Saturday 8:00AM-Monday 8:00AM Full Time (40 Hours) Mondays 8:00AM-Wednesday 4:00PM You are required to stay on site for the duration of your shift & clock out to sleep each night for 8hrs . Compensation: $15.00/hour Your Role in Our Mission You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in. Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing, toiletry and changing diapers; as well as employment support. You may transport the client to appointments and run errands. Help plan and organize their schedule. Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record. Why Join Us?
